Our company journal was founded in Nov. 2010 and has a listory of nearly 6 years. We have big changes in size, number of pages, paper and version style. The reason why we found the journal,in the beginning is to record the company's growth and train new employees, then is made into proactive publication. All the articles are written by our team members, we refused to copy!

1. Journal Size

The 1st generation of journal is A5. since Dec. 2011, the size was changed to A4, and since May. 2016, the size was changed to B5. In fact, the journal content is not so much in the early days, so A5 can meet our needs, with the development of business, the content become more and more, so, A4 replaced A5.Till to May of this year, the content of journal get more rich, the number of page increased from 24 to 44. Size is a combination of Europe and the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japanese magazine, finally determined in B5.

2. The Binding method/Reference Line

The Binding Method

Most binding way is take use of the Saddle Stitching Binding Way, there are

2 main reasons: 1. Image that across the version can be free to use. 2. Convenient binding, We have made use of circle loading/seal, but the paper is too independent to concatenated together, finally we have to give up, and finally adopt the Saddle Stitching Binding Way.

Reference Line

We have been using the printing machine is Canon inkjet printer, machine automatically narrow around 3 mm in printing , if there is no margin, the machine will set apart around 3 mm, so we need to be reserved around 3 mm from the page in advance when printing. The margin of photo is different from that of text, the reference line must be 18 mm from the cutting edges, and the rest of the reference line is adjusted according to the paper sizing.

3. Paper Selection

Till May of this year, the company's journals are made by ink-jet printing paper. However, when our A3 paper is used up, we need to purchase again quickly, Louis bought spray high gloss coated paper, the printing effect is better than inkjet printing paper too much, so we adopted the new paper after that. This mistake made the successful choose of paper. In the past, the problem that inkjet paper absorbed ink lead to the result that a lot of photos cannot be shown perfectly. However, coated paper makes it possible for 90% of designing effect can be presented.

4. Publication Date

Since February 2016, or after 2016 New Year, the first journal, completion time of journal for 15th of each month, submit date range for 16th of last month to the 15th of this month. Make such a big change is because the company realized that as a consulting company, our journals should not only record the past achievements, we need more outlooks and predicte the development of the industry in the future

5. The column/Version Style

At first, the journal is classified by the inspection, auscultation & olfaction, inquiry, pulse-taking & palpation, then classified by business scope, such as: Retail, Commercial Real Estate, Home, etc.

Then based on column properties, such as: Industry analysis, international perspective and local market. In Oct. 2015, Louis put forward the ideas to control well this internal journal through 5 Main Chinese Logic Categories, the main structure and Core of Consulting Biz, Investment Management Analysis, Management Bible. View (Conclusion), Wisdom (Analysis), Heart (Feeling & Judgment), Body (Execution), State (Philosophy), using these 5 main categories to classify the quality of articles, by retail, commercial real estate, manufacture, international trade, family offices, CEPO, about us, these 7 parts enriched the contents of the journal and to make our journals become more readable and useful.

Version Style

In late July, we made the HUB promotion tools, makes the journal more active.
