A spring silkworm may not stop spinning silk after death

There were 2 experienced employees (with 3 and 4 working experience in PIONEER) had offered their resignation on February 17, 2017. After I took a long conversation with them, they still can’t change their mind. They went through their relevant formalities and left PIONEER at the same day.

 

Maybe just several resigning staffs are not important to many companies. But it’s significant to our team that faced difficulties together over 3 years. Before the two experienced employees left, I told them let you go instead of persuading you stay it’s a deep love to you.

 

The main reason is that company ignored ideological guidance, skill training and direction description to the employees during the business development and transformation.

 

1.   Behoove is not fair and reasonable

Various of meetings can be a good preparation for employees, but get along for a time and with concern for status and qualifications, some staffs will not express their mind. I take for granted up that they understand what I said, if there’s no result of mission, I’ll push harder to perform it. Obviously, “excessive education” is not suitable for young people, it could backfire. My fatal mistake is strong subjective sense lead to make blind areas in management.

 

2.   Share weal and woe is not take over

When employees love his company and work for it try his best for years, they will produce “over deliberation” emotions and thoughts subjectively. Their treatment is higher than before, they will think the higher treatment is the works of labours, but they will ignore it’s under the company’s training and support. When the physical and psychological age grow significantly behind the job promotion, job challenges, and even the future fate of the major issues, when they are aware of the contradiction between the judgment and the established policy of the company, they don’t know how to express their opinions to let me accept it, and they can’t convince themselves to obey the company strategy temporarily, they will be slack in work. The company encourages employees to be themselves and to tell the truth, as time passes, they will have negative attitudes to work. Contemporaries will have the same feelings and it will lead to the doubt of direction, the incertitude of themselves. Anything small will became a fuse to ignite the bomb. This is the common error of the old employees who’s working in a company over 3 years and take good care of the company and the group.

 

Today is the February 21,2017. Although things have passed for 4 days, until now I can calm myself and the mood just opened slightly. They were loath to part with or leave, as the same to me, I would be reluctant to part from them. Though we separated the labour relation in form, highly emotional acceptance and tolerance and in the character of strong self-confidence led us on our respective paths. I would not doubt or shrink back the way I persisted in. In my opinion, they also do not negate PIONEER or everything that happened, each other’s mode may be found in a poetry by Li Shangyin:

 

It is hard to meet, but hard to part too.

The east wind languid, hundreds of flowers wasted.

A spring silkworm may not stop spinning silk after death.

A candle's tears dry only when it is burned down to ashes.

In the morning's bronze mirror, you worry about the change in your hair,and you feel the moonlight cold, reading alone in the night.

Mount Penglai, so celebrated in fairy tales, cannot be located far away.

Good news: One of resigning staff told me that she will adjust her state and come back on March 1, after 2 weeks. The other one is still doing ideological struggle. Anyway, I hope the one who choose to stay could be more care for collective and everything’s fine with the one who choose to leave.

 

Any other staffs who had already left, PIONEER would never forgive you forever and ever.

 

A frosty nightthe moon went down and the crows cawed, as the midnight clock, may chimed at my ship.
