The special gift of Women’s Day

2017-3-8

March 8, 2017 was International Women’s Day. PIONEER organized us to visit a museum which established by the famous glaze artist Mrs. Yang Huishan from Taiwan. We arrived at the museum on time. This museum was designed and operated by Taiwan artist Zhang Yi (husband) and Yang Huishan (wife) together. This museum is the highest level to show the glazed art work.

In the figure was the facade of the museum.

The facade of the museum are black peonies. In the night, they’re glittering. When see the glittering museum, people associate this view with the glazed art work naturally.

In the figure was the glazed art work <The heart hides in the dark corner> by the famous artist Emile Galle.

When the first time, at the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, Galle wrote his signature on the glaze, it made glaze become a kind of art.

In the figure was the glazed art work < Fly to the light > by Francois Décorchemont.

In the figure was the glazed art work < Five Colored Dance > by Japanese artist Kyohei Fujita.

It’s really a big shock to me when I saw the art work created by Kyohei Fujita. His art work illustrates Japanese culture gorgeously.

In the figure was the glazed art work < Tathagata> by Mrs. Yang Huishan.

Figure 6 was the ultimate dream of Mrs. Yang Huishan, restored the Avalokitesvara Yuan Dynasty Wall-Painting in Dunhuang Grottoes that have passed out of existence.

I was surprised when I came into a room full of incense and saw the avalokitesvara. It seems like there’s a tutor teach me how to get peace in such a chaotic world.

Louis and I went to eat hand-pulled noodles in a Japanese restaurant after visited the museum. Louis surmised that this restaurant has been open for 4 months by watched scratches of desk and cutlery, room decoration taste and table turnover rate to judge. We confirm with the waiter and Louis’s deduction was correctly! I admired Louis from bottom of my heart.
